We’re truly passionate about getting books into the hands of young readers and love to work with schools! On this page are just some of the ways we can work with schools, please contact us if you would like to discuss anything at all that we may be able to help with!
School Book Supply
We can supply a HUGE range of titles for schools at competitive discounts – everything from the latest fiction, to specialist academic titles and reading scheme books. We can provide advice about recent titles as well as professional quotations and invoices, and delivery to school. Many titles can be obtained very quickly too. We think it’s really important to build relationships with the schools that we work for the longterm and would always be honest about what we’re able to provide. We already work with a number of schools in the area that order from us regularly, and are keen to work with more schools.
Vouchers/National Book Token Supply
We can supply National Book Tokens and our own shop vouchers to be used as prizes in the school. We can provide the full range of National Book Tokens, for any amount and any quantity. We can provide our own vouchers which can be spent in store, and are able to offer discounts on our own vouchers, depending on the amount required – meaning the student gets the same money to spend in the shop but the school pays less for it! Ordering with us is hassle free – just let us know what you would like and we’ll sort out the rest including invoicing the school. (We can also offer personalisation of National Book Tokens with the school’s logo/image if vouchers are for £10 each or higher – there is also a minimum order for this service, please speak to us if you are interested.) Our Little Dragons’ Project!
We’re gave away hundreds of FREE BOOKS to primary schools as part of our Little Dragons’ Project! We’re hoping to embark on more dragon-fueled ways to get books into schools very soon!
World Book Day
We stock plenty of World Book Day Books and would be delighted if you sent your students our way to redeem their vouchers! We’re also very happy to accept class visits to the bookshop on World Book Day or at any time during the redemption period! Please call us 01423 391301 or email books@imaginedthings.co.uk or call in to arrange a class visit – we just need to confirm there isn’t another school coming at that time!
Class Visits to The Bookshop
We’re happy to welcome classes to the bookshop at other times too, not just World Book Day! This could be to have a look around the bookshop, have a chat with the bookseller about what working in a bookshop is like or to pick out books for the class. We can invoice the school directly for any books chosen and the children can take the books away that day. Please contact us as above if you’d be interested in coming to see us!
Book Stalls in Schools
We’ll happily bring a book stall to your school! We can provide stalls for school fairs, parents’ evenings or themed stalls for particular events. We will be on hand at the stall to advise children and parents on books that may suit them and we will donate a percentage of takings to the school to spend on books with us too. If you have any events you would be interested in us attending then please do get in touch with us.
